Hurley's first modelling job was at Estee Lauder, when she was only 29 years old. She has been modeling since 1995 for the company's products, particularly perfumes like Sensuous Intuition or Pleasures. In the popular spy comedy films International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (1998), she appeared as Vanessa Kensington. Katy Perry..........................Katy Perry original name Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, (born October 25 1984 Santa Barbara California U.S.) American pop singer who gained fame for a string of anthemic and often sexually suggestive hit songs as well as for a playfully cartoonish sense of style. Perry's first attempts at popular stardom failed with two separate record labels signing and then dropping her before any material was released. Capitol Records released Perry's Ur So Gay EP in 2007 and it garnered only a small amount of attention due to the cheerfully playful title track. "I Loved a Girl was a more robust ode of sexism and complemented by a hard edged electro-pop rhythm. It was an unpopular song because critics condemned the song for encouraging relationships between gay men as well as others who claimed the song depicted a sexually explicit story appealing to male fantasies about female sexuality. But the mixture of sensuality and a polished melody made I Kissed a Girl become the number one song in a variety of countries and drove the album sales of the Boys (2008). Its bouncy, sharp-tongued and bouncy second single Hot N Cold also proving popular the album much of the songs Perry created herself ultimately registered sales of more than three million copies in the United States.
